The large twin room was comfortable, but the shower step was quite awkward.

Spotlessly clean hotel, welcoming personnel, lovely and exceptionally good breakfast. Extremely clean building and fairly quiet and modest rooms with good facilities. Quirky and lovely place and beautiful location so close to the Bluebell Railway as well as Gatwick airport.

The Beautiful King Room offered excellent cleanliness levels, and the room featured a wall-mounted TV and a well-stocked tea-making station with biscuits and water. A large garden at the back provides a nice option for outdoor relaxation.

The dining options were limited, with only pizzas, which might not suit all tastes, especially if you're looking for variety during meals. Noise from the pub and the road outside made it hard to keep windows open for fresh air, and even with a lively atmosphere, the bar felt cramped and lacked ambiance. The garden area appeared unkempt and could benefit from some attention to showcase its potential.
